ARCSA delivers Good Manufacturing Practices certification | La Fabril

This certification guarantees compliance with the rules of BPM set out in Annex 2 of Decision 516 of the Andean Community and in the annex to the Andean Technical Regulation described in Decision 721 of the Andean Community.

ARCSA delivers Good Manufacturing Practices certificationManta, April 27, 2018.- Within its Industrial Complex, La Fabril received the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification granted by the National Agency for Regulation, Control and Surveillance (ARCSA), for their lines of cosmetic products and household hygiene.

With this certification, the Company from Manabi became the second industry in the country and the first in the province in obtaining BPM for the production of products in these two categories.

Victor Loayza, Corporate Manager of Legal Affairs of La Fabril, noted that “this achievement is important for the Company, as it reaffirms our commitment and efforts in offering Ecuadorian homes, brands with high added value that meet the conditions of quality and health security”.

This certification was delivered by Sergio Palomeque, ARCSA’s Zonal Coordinator, who clarified that this certification was obtained after meeting an audit process carried out by the technicians of the agency.

According to Mireya Urdiales, Quality Manager at La Fabril, “The constant training of staff and the commitment of a whole team of collaborators to implement and maintain BPM, was key in achieving this certification”.

At present, La Fabril has more than 10 national and international certifications in processes and products that merit the highest standards of quality, safety, security, and environment required globally, which have positioned the Company as a benchmark in the Manabi agro-industry in Ecuador.
